Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient healing system that originated in China over 3,000 years ago and is now widely practised across the world. It is a gentle, effective and evidence-informed therapy that focuses on treating the root cause of illness, rather than simply masking symptoms.

Modern lifestyles can place significant strain on our health. Stress, diet, emotional overwhelm and physical trauma can all disrupt the free flow of Qi—the body’s vital energy—which moves through a network of channels known as meridians. When Qi becomes blocked or imbalanced, it can lead to discomfort, illness and reduced wellbeing.

Acupuncture works to restore the natural movement of Qi within the body’s 12 main meridians, each of which relates to specific organs and physiological functions. During treatment, ultra-fine, sterile needles are gently inserted into selected acupuncture points to support balance, reduce stagnation and activate the body’s natural healing response.

Many patients report feeling more relaxed, grounded and calm following treatment, often noticing improvements in both physical and emotional wellbeing.
